Another mega event in the Tirolean Alps has wound up with the Snowbombing Festival offering a serious mix of music, excess and riding in the ski holiday resort of Mayrhofen.

The music extravaganza has been running in Mayrhofen since 2005 after several seasons in France and the organisers seem to have discovered the perfect location for the event with legendary apres ski and fantastic park and off-piste riding in the Mayrhofen ski area. The music event includes concerts on and off the slopes with International DJ sets in the mountain huts, apres ski in abundance on the mountain and evening music events across the resort. Snowbombing is an official event that the organiser’s package but it is easily possible to do this event independently and get to many of the free events that take place around the resort. The next Snowbombing event is scheduled for April 2015. A good immune system is recommended since this is an event which requires serious stamina!
