French artist Eva Jospin creates forest installations from carton. These forests do not only imitate natural spectacles but further encapsulate what nature means to the artist; they represent danger, anarchy, and freedom. You can both find and lose yourself in these rooms but you can’t hide. This insightful exhibition will be set up at Museum Pfalzgalerie Kaiserslautern between August 24 and January 12, 2020. Exhibition: Hundertwasser Eco Visions

Architect and artist Hundertwasser believed in what is nowadays described us a utopia: the concept of a green city. He spent his life advocating for the environment and nature conservation projects, donated the proceeds of his artwork to organizations saving the oceans, protecting the rainforests and much more. This year’s pumpkin exhibition will take visitors of all ages on a spectacular journey to the Roman Empire. Roman architectural masterpieces as well as Julius Caesar himself and the fan-favorite Asterix and Obelix will be built out of pumpkins at Gartenschau Kaiserslautern between September 1 and October 31. Granted, the pun works better in German but Rock(h)art(d) - Egyptian Beverages is a great addition to Reiss-Engelhorn-Museum’s permanent exhibition on old Egypt nonetheless. Mannheim’s most famous museum presents around 100 precious stone beverages from 4000-1680 BC. The museum is closed on Mondays.
