It’s impossible not to love Germany during Wine Festival season.  Although wine fests can be found around the region nearly year round, the largest and most well known festivals happen in the early fall, starting this weekend!

If you’re new to the area, these festivals are very family-friendly and take place outdoors, either in a city center or on the rolling hillside nearby.  The events go all day and in the evening, so wear comfortable shoes, bring some friends, and be sure to take the train or have a designated driver.
