Rambazamba, Indoor Playground in Mainz

Ramabazama is a fun filled paradise for children of all ages and an indoor playground that parents enjoy going to as well. Located in Mainz, Rambazamba is perfect for when there is inclement weather, for a special fun day in the summer and a great place for a child’s birthday party.

Different Perspectives

From a kid’s point of view, Rambazamba is a giant room that they can run free, climb, jump on trampolines and roll around on air filled castles. From a parent’s point of view, Rambazamba is a safe (enclosed, padded and no exiting) place for kids to have fun (burn energy!) and still be able to have a cappuccino while watching. Parents, of course, can join the younger ones through the huge climbing frame too. But when the kids are a little older and independent, they really want to do it all own their own.

Ahoy, Matey!

There is a massive climbing frame that almost reaches the ceiling. It has ball pits, obstacle like hallways and also an air gun that shoots out balls like you were a pirate on top of a ship.

Soccer!

Soccer fans can play inside the soccer cage without having to worry about the ball being kicked out.

Crocodiles!

And there is the ever popular crocodile!

The children crawl in and out of the crocodile’s mouth, which is on a timer. The kids have to hang on to the croc’s tooth or else they slide down its throat back to the ground! It is common to walk by and see a random kid dangling from the crocs mouth! My daughter is too scared to go in but loves watching it. She also likes the idea of going in once she is bigger and braver!

Dinosaurs!

There are fun dinosaur go-karts on its own track. But remember to bring some 1€ coins or you might have a very disappointed racer on your hands!

Kids Under 2

Children under the age of 2 can have fun too! The small play area has a climbing frame, slide which lands in a ball pit and big foam building blocks just for them.

Snack Bar

The snack bar serves warm food, ice cream and a great selection of drinks.

Birthday Parties

Not only is having a party here is a blast, it also means no cleaning your house afterwards! You book a nice long table in which the birthday boy or girl sits in the head chair like royalty.

There are four special birthday packages available. Each package includes entry for the children, access to play areas, food and drinks, table decorations, cups, plates and napkins. Though you are only allowed to bring in your own birthday cake, cakes can also be purchased at the snack bar.  To book your party in advance, click here. Things to Know

An important thing to remember to bring is socks. All kids and all parents must wear socks inside. If you do forget, socks can be purchased at the playground for 2€. And once entering Rambazamba, you can place your shoes and bags in cubbyholes. There are no lockers, so leave anything of value in the car or at home. I suggest to bring a small wrap around purse or keep everything in your pocket. Click on the playground’s website for additional information. Last but not least, Rambazamba takes the VAT form!
