During the advent period in the run-up to Christmas, the historic inner city in Constance is filled with Christmas market stalls stretching right up to the harbor.
The large Christmas market attracts more than 400,000 visitors every year. Over 130 artisans, traders and food vendors spread their wares creating an enticing Christmas atmosphere.
While visiting the popular Christmas Market in Constance, your palate will be tickled by the typical delicacies and regional sweets; enjoy them together with some mulled wine and punch. The majority of vendors come from the region and offer a very diverse selection of wares.
One particular feature of the market in Constance is the “Christmas Ship” which is moored at the quay wall in the harbor. A special atmosphere is created on board ship as you continue your stroll through the stands.
